On a school day, Ambassador Jović visited the 102nd Primary School "Panajot Volov" in Sofia, and great friends of the Embassy of Serbia and the ambassador himself. From 2022 in this school, the Serbian language is studied on an optional basis. Serbian classes are taught from the sixth grade, and the trend of interested people is increasing.

In addition to other topics, the ambassador spoke with the school director, as well as with other managers and teachers, on the topic of cross-border projects, and in the context of the possibility that this school, together with a similar school from the border municipalities of the Republic of Serbia, apply for funding for a specific project, which would improve the conditions in which children are educated in this school. In addition, the possibility of connecting this school with the primary school in Dimitrovgrad and some of the primary schools in Belgrade was considered, with the aim of bringing children together and further strengthening the ties between the two nations.
