On March 6, 2024, in cooperation with the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Commerce (BCCI), and in the organization of the National Industrial Club and the Bulgarian Defense Industry Association, a business forum was held with representatives of business entities from the Republic of Bulgaria.

The forum was opened by the president of BCCI, C. Simeonov, and ambassador Ž. Jović. The co-chairman of the Nišava Euroregion, V. Tošić, held a presentation on the implementation of the Dual Professional Training program, with a special focus on cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Bulgaria. Also, the representatives of Chamber of Commerce from Pirot and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Niš participated in the forum.

Ambassador Ž. Jović presented the current business climate in the Republic of Serbia, and particularly emphasized the results in terms of the development of road and other infrastructure, as a prerequisite for further investments and even faster economic development. Ambassador Jović also pointed to the openness and willingness of the Embassy to provide assistance to interested Bulgarian companies within its competences and capabilities, with the aim of achieving possible cooperation with Serbian companies. First counsellor, M. Sekulić, presented to the economic cooperation between the two countries, as well as the current legal regulations and all the potential benefits that can help foreign investors to opt for the Republic of Serbia in their business concepts. In this context, he presented the trends of the Serbian GDP over the past few years, and the international assessment of the credit rating and other indicators of the success of the Serbian economy.
