From the 17th  - 20th   January, Ambassador Jović visited the Rhodopes, one of the largest mountain massifs in the Republic of Bulgaria. During his visit to this region, he held several meetings with the leadership of local administratives, primarily with the presidents of the Municipality of Chepelara, Boran Hadjiev and the Municipality of Smolyan, Nikolay Melemov. Also, together with the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Bulgaria, Dimitar Iliev, and the Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria, Zarica Dinkova, ambassador Jovic attended the ceremonial opening of the world cup in snowboarding, which took place in one of the three largest winter centers in Bulgaria, Pamporovo.

In addition to the above, in the organization of the Embassy of Serbia in the Republic of Bulgaria, the commemoration of the Epiphany and the traditional swiming were also organized this year. In addition to Defense attache, Lt. Col. Željko Simić, and dozens of Serbian citizens who entered the River Smolyan with the ambassador, the event was attended by the crew of the Triangl production company, Tamara Grujić, as well as the hosts of the new show "Skiing the Balkans", Tijana Dapčević and Igor Lazić Nigor.
