On October 26, Ambassador Željko Jović met with the Minister of Interior of the Republic of Bulgaria, K. Stoyanov. On that occasion, issues related to bilateral and regional cooperation were discussed, as well as joint measures to secure the common border and combat illegal migration.

In this sense, the interlocutors stated readiness to strengthen operational cooperation and intensify direct communication between specific organizational units of the two ministries. Also, possibilities for facilitating traffic across the common border were considered, especially during the summer months when it is the most intense.
