On September 16, 2023, Ambassador Jović attended a basketball tournament in Pleven, in which basketball players from the "Čačak 94" team participated. In addition to attending the tournament, the ambassador met with the mayor of Pleven, Georgi Spartanski.

In the company of the former mayor and former minister of internal affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, and today the leader of the ABV party, the ambassador visited the monument Panorama "The Epic of Pleven in 1877", where he signed the book of impressions and paid tribute to the fallen Bulgarians, Russians and Romanians, who fought against the army of the Ottoman Empire in the famous Battle of Pleven in 1877.
