On September 12, Ambassador Jović, in the company of Stefan Stojkov, President of the Council of the Bulgarian National Minority in Serbia, attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition entitled "Shadows" by the painter Velchо Velchev in the "Stubel" Art Gallery in Sofia. Velchev is a citizen of the Republic of Serbia from Dimitrovgrad, and has been living and creating in Spain for years.

On this occasion, Ambassador Jović emphasized the importance of culture as one of the most important bonds between the Bulgarian and Serbian people, and thanked the owners of the aforementioned gallery for the opportunity for the citizens of Sofia to see the beautiful works of Velchev.
