Yesterday, in Sofia in front of the National Palace of Culture, an award ceremony for the best wines was held on the occasion of the 12th Balkan wine festival "The Balkans International Wine Competition and Festival 2023" (BIWCF).

This year, wine producers from the Republic of Serbia won two awards. Despoika winery "Nemir 2022" won the best semi-dry wine, and Vinčić winery "Grand Fru 2020, Grašac, Fruška Gora" won the award for the best white wine.

The event was also attended by Ambassador Ž. Jović, who expressed his gratitude to the organizers for the invitation and emphasized the importance of the mentioned event, primarily in terms of strengthening economic relations between the countries of the Western Balkans. On this occasion, Ambassador Jović also invited all present wine producers and distributors to register and actively attend the Second International Wine Fair "Wine Vision Open Balkans", which will be held in the period from November 16 to 19, 2023, in Belgrade, and visited the stands with the exhibitors.
