In Sofia, from June 14 to 16, 2023, the Workshop "Resolving Labor Disputes - Partnership for Knowledge of Best Practices" was organized by the National Institute for Conciliation and Arbitration of the Republic of Bulgaria (NIPA), which was opened by Ambassador Ž. Jović. Representatives of the Republic Agency for Peaceful Settlement of Labor Disputes of the Republic of Serbia took part in the working meeting with representatives of NIPA.

The main topic of the workshop was focused on the identification of similarities and differences in dispute resolution procedures and opportunities for cooperation in a potential joint project within the program INTERREG VI-A IPA Bulgaria-Serbia, 2021-2027.

Given that the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Bulgaria have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in the prevention and resolution of labor disputes, the mentioned event provided another opportunity to strengthen long-standing inter-institutional cooperation and friendship.
