At the 20th International Children's Ethno Festival "Children of the Balkans with the Spirituality of Europe" held in Haskovo, Bulgaria, the Choir of the Children's Cultural Center Belgrade, headed by conductor Nevena Ivanović won a special award in competition from one hundred and fifty artistic groups. The festival, which was held on the occasion of the celebration of June 1 - International Children's Day, it is traditionally held on the Summer Theater Stage in the green oasis of the Mineral Spa near Haskovo.

The competition of vocal and dance groups from the Balkans - Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Romania, North Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro and from all regions of Bulgaria was followed by the Bulgarian National Television, which recorded the Gala concert and made a special show dedicated to the twentieth anniversary gathering of the children of the Balkans.

After a successful performance at the festival in Haskovo, the following day the Choir of the Children's Cultural Center Belgrade continued its musical performances with the children's choir from the National Children's Palace in Sofia, holding a joint evening concert in this institution for the children in Sofia.

Participants from the Belgrade Children's Cultural Center were also guests at the Embassy of Serbia in Sofia, where the most beautiful children's voices and songs, "This is Serbia" and "Kolovodja", could be heard that day.
