Ambassador Jović traditionally attended the celebration of the day of the City of Montana, St. Spirit.

The mayor of Montana, Zlatko Zhivkov, this time hosted 13 delegations from all over the world, including representatives of the municipalities of Pirot, Babušnica and Medijana (Nis). After the festive celebration and the session of the Municipal Council, special meetings of each delegation were held with the mayor and representatives of the municipal administration.

When it comes to Serbian municipalities, the key goal was the establishment of even closer ties and a concrete agreement within the ongoing process of cross-border cooperation. Montana has been one of the most reliable partners of Serbian municipalities for many years, and with Pirot alone in the previous period, it implemented 15 projects, which contributed to the development of local infrastructure and a better life for citizens.

Ambassador Jović promised the continuation of the dedicated and active presence of the Embassy of Serbia in Sofia, in order to monitor all future projects and bring them to full realization.
