On April 25th, 2023, Amb. Mr. Željko Jović handed over the exequatur to newly appointed Honorary Consul of the Republic of Serbia in Bulgaria, Mr. Mitko Solakov.

The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Serbia in the city of Blagoevgrad will after opening, cover the consular area that includes the regions Sofia, Kyustendil, Pernik, Blagoevgrad, Vraca, Montana, Vidin and Pleven.
