On the 27 January at the Embassy of Serbia in Sofia, a reception was organized to mark the day of St. Sava.

The gathering was attended by representatives of the National Library in Sofia "St. Cyril and Methodius", head of the Department of Slavic Studies of the Faculty of Philology at the University of "St.Cyril and Methodius " in Veliko Trnovo, lecturer for the Serbian language at the University of "St. Kliment Ohridski" in Sofia and students, representatives of Bulgarian Orthodox Church, members of the Serbian community who live and work in Bulgaria, as well as teachers and students of 102 Elementary School "Panajot Volov" in Sofia.

This year, the students of the "Panajot Volov" school started attending Serbian language classes, which were conducted according to the national program "Activities according to interests", of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Bulgaria, and within the "Slovene languages" club. On this occasion, the students prepared a short program and performed a recitation about "St. Sava", after which Ambassador Jović handed them a book in the Serbian language, a donation from the National Library of Serbia.
