After the ending of the Second International Clarinet Competition, which was organized by the National Academy of Music - NMA "Pancho Vladigerov" and the "Sava Dimitrov" Foundation, with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Municipality of Sofia, at the premises of the Embassy of Serbia in Sofia,  Ambassador Jović hosted the Rector of the NMA and the Foundation founder S. Dimitrov, member of the jury, Đ. Pete from the Republic of Serbia, participant Slaven Balać, who won first place in the competition in category "C", and two other Serbian competitors.

At the mentioned competition, where popular works from the world clarinet repertoire were performed (works by Claude Debussy, Francis Poulenc, Michel Mangani, etc.), 159 clarinetists from all over the world applied, and only the best 30 participated in Sofia, of which four were from the Republic of Serbia. Apart from S. Balać, the participant Isidora Vlašić won the special prize of the jury in the "D" category. All participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences with their peers from other countries and music schools, as well as to receive valuable advice from members of the international jury, who within the program also held master classes.
