Ambassador Z. Jović held a lecture at the Department of Political Science and National Security of the University of Plovdiv "Paisiy Hilendarski ", on the topic "The role of economic and business diplomacy in relations between countries in the Balkans". Honorary Consul of the Republic of Serbia in Plovdiv, Ms. Anastasija Rusenova Solakova also attended the lecture.

Ambassador Jović emphasized the importance and contribution of economic diplomacy to regional cooperation and bilateral relations of countries in the Balkans. Also, the ambassador informed the attendees about the current business climate in the Republic of Serbia, the implemented infrastructure projects, with special reference to road and rail traffic, and their contribution to the economic development of the countries of the Balkans.

After the lecture, Ambassador Jović answered the questions of students, and on that occasion, through the answers given, he gave a detailed overview of the current and most important directions of internal and external policy of the Republic of Serbia, including our relationship with the southern province - Kosovo and Metohija.
