On November 25, 2022, in the organization of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia and the Agency for the Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises of the Republic of Bulgaria (BSMEPA), a business forum "Serbian-Bulgarian Business Forum" was held, at which business entities from Bujanovac were presented.

The meeting, which was held at the Embassy, was opened by the Director of BSMEPA, Mr. Bojko Takov, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr. Željko Jović.

Mr. Takov stated in his address that the promotion of business development between Bulgaria and Serbia is a very important factor for building a strong Balkan region, which will be a support for economic entities and the entire economic situation of the two countries. Ambassador Jović pointed out the readiness of the Serbian side to continue with the process of deepening economic relations and cooperation between the two countries, noting that it is forums like this that give business entities the opportunity to concretize cooperation and promote local communities.

After the official opening of the meeting, representatives of business entities from Bujanovac presented the potential of their companies. The structure of our companies was in the domain of providing medical and rehabilitation care (Rehabilitation Hostpital of Bujanovac), production and distribution of furniture, machine industry and food industry ("Bi voda", "Megal", "Maj Plus", "Milenboos", etc.)

The meeting was attended by 20 representatives (13 from RB and 7 from RS) of business entities, who held individual (B2B) meetings and exchanged information of mutual interest, with the aim of achieving possible future business cooperation.
