On November 9, 2022, at the central foyer of the National Library "St. Cyril and Methodius" in Sofia, the exhibition "Wealth of colors and traditions" was held.

The exhibition was realized on the basis of an international project in which six national libraries participate, the National Library of the Republic of Bulgaria "St. Cyril and Methodius", National Library of Georgia, National Library of Romania, National Library of Serbia, National and University Library of Croatia and National Library "Đurđe Černojević", from Montenegro.

At the exhibition, which was opened by representatives of national libraries, paintings, postcards and national costumes of the participating countries were presented, with the aim of promoting their traditions and culture. The National Library of the Republic of Serbia presented postcards featuring the national costumes of Serbia. The aforementioned works are part of the rich collection of sisters Danica and Ljubica Janković, who are internationally recognized ethnomusicologists and founders of Serbian ethnochoreology.

The event was attended by experts from the field of ethnography, folklore and other academic fields, as well as diplomatic representatives accredited in the Republic of Bulgaria. Ambassador Željko Jović attended the event on behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Bulgaria.
