On October 21, 2022, in Sofia, the Tourist Organization of Serbia – TOS and the Tourist Organization of Belgrade - TOB, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Sofia and the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria, presented the tourism potential of Serbia and Belgrade, with a special emphasis on cultural manifestations and events.

The event was opened by Ambassador Željko Jović and Deputy Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria, Ms. Mariela Modeva. Ambassador Jović pointed out the importance of cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Bulgaria, especially in the field of tourism, because they are neighboring countries with similar traditions and culture. Also, the ambassador pointed out that a large number of tourists from the Republic of Bulgaria visit Serbia, and expressed the hope that this number will increase, as well as the number of Serbs who will visit Bulgaria. In this regard, tourism representatives from the Republic of Serbia specified that visits by Bulgarians for the first six months of this yeas recorded an increase of over 100 percent.

The event was attended by the assistant director of TOB, Mr. Slobodan Unković, owner of one of the largest travel agencies in RB, "Bohemia", Mr. Bajko Bajkov, adviser to the director of TOS, Ms. Tamara Rašković, head of Sector for development of tourism of TOB, Mr. Saša Stevanović, acting director of TO Niš, Ms. Dragana Božić, director TO Sokobanja, Mr. Ljubinko Milenković, numerous representatives of regional and local tourist organizations, and tour operators from the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Bulgaria

Representatives of tourism business entities of the two countries held individual (B2B) meetings and exchanged information of mutual interest, with the aim of achieving possible future business cooperation. The structure of the companies was primarily from the domain of hotels, catering and mineral spas.
