On the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the consecration of the Church Holy Nativity of Christ, at the Shipchensky Monastery, at the Kazanlak Municipality a number of events were held, as well as a conference in the historical museum in the town of Kazanlak.

On that occasion, the Metropolitan of Stara Zagorje, Kiprian, presented Ambassador Jović with a letter of recognition for his special contribution to the Diocese of Stara Zagora and the development of fraternal relations between the two peoples. In his address to the present audience, the ambassador thanked for the great honor shown, and pointed out that in these difficult times we really need love, tolerance and understanding of the closeness that definitely exists between us, but which we are often not aware of. He also stated, that in all his further activities he will try to work even harder and tirelessly to strengthen the ties between the two nations and improve our relations in all spheres.
