Ambassador Jović, in the company of the Deputy President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Iliana Jotova and the Mayor of the city Veliki Trnovo, Daniela Panov, attended the solemn ceremony marking the 114th anniversary of Bulgaria's independence in this city today.On that occasion, he laid a wreath at the Pyramid of Independence, the place where the manifesto on independence was published and read on September 22, 1908.

Also, during his visit to Veliko Trnovo, the ambassador held a meeting with representatives of the Serbian community who live and work in this important city for Serbia, where Saint Sava was buried and where 25 years of the university presence of the Serbian language will be marked this year.
