During the visit to the north-western region of Bulgaria, Ambassador Jović also visited the Municipality of Vidin.
At the meeting with the deputy Mayors of the Municipality, Svetislav Korchev and Desislav Todorov, the ambassador primarily discussed the topics related to future projects within cross-border cooperation. Also, they talked about the problems identified in this area, as well as potential solutions when it comes to the next Serbian partner of the Municipality of Vidin.

Also, in this municipality, the need for accelerated development of road infrastructure was emphasized, which would further strengthen Vidin's ties with Negotin and Zaječar, and which would contribute to the much-needed reduction of demographic problems on both sides of the border.
