Today in Sofia, Ambassador Ž. Jovic attended a work meeting with the representatives of the Science and Technology Park (NTP) from Niš and NTP from Sofia. Representatives of these institutions initially made contact and began cooperation at the Bulgaria-Serbia Business Forum, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Sofia in June last year.

Today's meeting confirmed the mutual interest in establishing cooperation, and in the implementation of both joint and individual projects in the field of innovation and promotion of activities and services for Starups and Tech companies (building innovation ecosystem), as well as in the field of technology transfer and legal protection.

Ambassador Jović welcomed the initiative and awareness of both sides on the usefulness of cooperation and joint use of all available resources. He also pointed out the great importance of the exchange of experiences, as well as the exchange of personnel, which would further improve the overall, primarily intellectual potential. In addition to the above, the Ambassador pointed out that the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Sofia, in accordance with the available possibilities, will give full support and get involved in all further activities, in which it is in the interest of both NTPs.
