Ambassador Ž. Jović attended a cocktail organized by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Bucharest, which on a non-residential basis covers the Republic of Bulgaria, and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco, as part of the visit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republicof Nigeria to Bulgaria.

During the visit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, G. Onyeama held a lecture on the topic "Strengthening food resilience and food security on the African continent", initiated by the African Union, to present modalities for strengthening agri-food, health and social protection systems to accelerate the development of human, social and economic capital. in Africa.

Ambassador Jović had a discussion with the MFA of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, with which he noted the excellent bilateral cooperation between Serbia and Nigeria, but also great opportunities for further deepening, especially in the field of food industry and energy. Also, the  MFA stated that the opening of the Nigerian Embassy in Belgrade is expected soon, which will be another proof of strengthening the friendship between the two countries and intensifying the dialogue at all levels.
