The finals of the Balkan Wheelchair Basketball League began today in Sofia with a solemn ceremony, in which teams from Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro and Bosna and Hercegovina took part.

With Vladimir Iskrov, president of the Balkan League and coach of BC in a wheelchair "Levski", and Aleksandrović Marko, Secretary General of the Balkan League, the opening and the first match (between BC Nais from Niš and BC OSI Paramont from Montenegro) was attended by Ambassador Ž. Jovic. The Ambassador addressed the audience and, above all, thanked the players once again for their will, strength and courage, for the example they give us every time they go out on the field, showing us all how little is necessary to live with a smile.
