In Sofia on May 1, 2022, traditionally was held the VIII International Youth Olympiad, in music and dance, organized by the Balkan Alliance. Serbia was represented by the Ana Plug Ballet Center from Belgrade. For this competition, they qualified a month ago, when they won first place at the Niš Olympics.

Ambassador Jović attended this event and, at the closing ceremony he addressed the children, parents and coaches, to whom he said that our children, our talents, are actually our hope for a better and more carefree future, and that our key task is to take care of them and creating the conditions for them to be even better and more successful. Also, the ambassador presented medals and plaques to children from Serbia (Anastasia Lalić, Maja Avdić, Milica Andrić and Iva Polovina).
