At the residence of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco, last night, Ambassador Jović attended the traditional iftar dinner, marking Ramadan, a Muslim holiday that is especially respected in Bulgaria, due to the large number of members of this religion who live here.

The dinner was organized by the Ambassador of Morocco, and was also attended by the Ambassadors of Bosna and Hecergovina, Egypt and Kazakhstan, as well as the President of the DPS (which mainly gathers Bulgarians of Turkish ethnicity) Mustafa Karadayi and a senior official of the same party, member of the Bulgarian Parliament, Imren Mehmedova.

During the disscusion with Karadayi and Mehmedova, ambassador Jović emphasized the good relations between the two countries, as well as the similarities that bind us, among other things, peaceful and fruitful coexistence of Christians and Muslims, which can be an example for other regions in the world, but also to further deepen the overall bilateral relations between Serbia and Bulgaria.
