Today, Ambassador Jović met with the Minister of Health of the Republic of Bulgaria, Prof. Asena Serbezova and her deputy, Dr. Peter Gribnev.

During the meeting, the ambassador informed his interlocutors in detail about all completed projects in Serbian healthcare, as well as the overall current potential of our health system, which will provide a far higher level of health care not only for Serbian citizens but the entire region. The ambassador also pointed out the positive trends in Serbian health care when it comes to new employment, according to which several thousand young doctors and nurses got jobs in the past period, which drastically reduced the outflow of these staff abroad (a problem with the Republic of Bulgaria continuously faced).

At the end of the conversation, the Ambassador thanked the Minister for her professionalism and great support in lifting the total ban on entry for Serbian citizens (end of 2021), introduced due to the worsening of COVID situation.
