On March 10, 2022, Ambassador Željko Jović attended the presentation of the project "Energy Perspectives of SEE 2021/2022", held by the Greek Institute for Energy for Southeast Europe IENE in Sofia, organized by the Institute of Energy Management (EMI) and the Bulgarian Independent Energy Exchange.

The main conclusions were presented by Mr. Kostis Stambolis, President and CEO of IENE and Mr. Costas Theophylactos, Secretary General of the Institute. In addition to IESA's internal research team, 25 experts from all Southeast European countries participated in the study and preparation of country profiles and sector analyzes. Among the authors is the chief economist of EMI, Kalojan Stajkov.

This presentation was held for the first time on March 1, 2022 in Athens, and after Bulgaria, it is planned to be held in other capitals, Istanbul, Belgrade, Tirana, Vienna, Bucharest and London. It is a thorough analysis of energy capacities, needs and potentials of the countries of the SEE region, with special reference and prediction of future developments in this area, which has become especially important with the most current events in Ukraine.
