Ambassador Jović attended the solemn celebration of the anniversary of the appointment of Bishop Nikolaj of Plovdiv. This ceremony, held in the monastery of St. Kirik and Julita were also attended by the ambassadors of the Russian Federation, Eleonora Mitrofanova, and Greece, Dimitrios Chronopoulos, as well as the mayor of Plovdiv, Zdravko Dimitrov, the commander of the special forces of the Republic of Bulgaria, General Javor Matejev and other prominent citizens from Bulgarian political and public life.
     Bishop Nikolaj expressed his gratitude to  Ambassador Jović, especially pointing out the importance of ties between the Orthodox brothers, as well as the readiness to strengthen further cooperation.
