On February 4, 2022, the Agreement of Cooperation between Serbian National Theater in Novi Sad and the Plovdiv State Opera has been signed at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Sofia.

Driven by the desire to promote and expand artistic and business-technical cooperation, on the basis of mutual interest and with deep conviction that this Protocol will provide the best possible basis and conditions for mutual cooperation and thus improve cultural policy in Serbia and Bulgaria the Agreement was signed by the director of the Serbian National Theater, A. Stankov, and the director of the State Opera Plovdiv, N. Naidenova. After the official ceremony, Ambassador Ž. Jović organized a reception, which was attended by the artistic director of the State Opera Plovdiv, maestro D. Čobanov, opera artist M. Jelić and other guests.
