Today, Ambassador Jović hosted the delegation of the Hunting Association of Bulgaria, led by the President of the LS, Vasil Vasilev. In the official part, which was attended by ambassadors who have a passion for hunting, fishing and nature (ambassadors of Slovenia, Slovakia, Cyprus and Qatar). Borislav Bechev, manager of the BLRS Sokol (which operates within LS Bulgaria), presented the Ambassador with a special gratitude letter, as well as a trophy. After the ceremony, the topic of improving the cooperation between the two ministries of agriculture, in the segment of hunting and fishing, was discussed.
It was jointly assessed that there is a huge potential for the development of hunting tourism and a unique approach to third markets, and it was pointed out that additional efforts must be made for even stronger and more concrete cooperation in the field of wildlife reintroduction. Both sides agreed that there is an additional chance and possibility of joint participation and application for available EU funds (Cross-border cooperation).
