Ambassador Jović visited the Municipalities of Kostinbrod and Petrač, where he welcomed the President of the Municipality of Babušnica, Ivana Stojičić, other representatives of this Serbian municipality and children from cultural and artistic society "Dom kulture Babušnica".

The delegation from Serbia is visiting Bulgaria for the final manifestations within the realization of the joint cross-border project with the mentioned two Bulgarian municipalities, which is financed by the EU. At the final event, children from Serbia and Bulgaria presented themselves with a mix of games from several parts of the two countries and and folk costumes, purchased with funds obtained from this project.

In his address to the gathered, Ambassador Jović emphasized the necessity and importance of such activities, which contribute to stronger connections between local governments of Serbia and Bulgaria, and are an example for other levels of government and all state institutions, how successful and quality cooperation can be. The ambassador mentioned that it is even more important that young people unite in this way, without whose determination to stay in this area, there will be neither one nor the other state. From there, Amb Jovic pointed out, it is our duty to work intensively on creating conditions for them to grow into educated, responsible and hardworking people, who will have the desire to stay in our beautiful Balkans and who will be wide enough to live, work and create together a new and better future.
