Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Nikola Selakovic sent a message of congratulations to Teodora Genchovska on the occasion of taking office as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria, wishing her every success in the discharge of her responsible duties in the interest of her country and people.

“I am proud of the fact that the bilateral relations between our two countries are very good, and based on mutual trust and respect, to which a contribution has been made through an intensive and substantial political dialogue at the high and top levels", the congratulatory message reads.

The Minister pointed out that Serbia was committed to deepening the comprehensive relations with Bulgaria in areas of common interest, with special emphasis on economic cooperation, which, according to Selakovic, contributed to both the citizens of our two countries, and the stability and well-being in the region.

In his congratulatory message, Selakovic also thanked Bulgaria for the overall support it provided to our country in the process of European integration, as well as for its readiness and openness to share experiences from the accession process with us.
