Ambassador Ž. Jović attended the New Year's cocktail party, which was held at the Sofia City Gallery, and hosted by  Sofia Mayor Jordanka Fandakova. On that occasion, Ambassador Jović talked with Fandakova and her closest associates, with whom he agreed that it is desirable and expedient to organize a meeting with the Mayor of Belgrade and people leading the largest Serbian city after the upcoming holidays, in order to discuss further cooperation and exchange of experiences from several fields and issues. Ambassador Joivć and Mayor Fandakova agreed that Sofia and Belgrade are very alike and that they have similar issues, which is one of the reasons for the necessity of intensifying cooperation and organizing direct contacts between the leaders of the two big cities.
