Today, in Sofia, Ambassador Željko Jović attended the solemn session, on which the 47th Bulgarian Parliament was constituted. In accordance with the usual procedure, the session was attended by the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. R. Radev, Vice President Ms. Iliana Yotova, Prime Minister and Ministers of the Transitional Government, former Speakers of Parliament, Ombudsman of the Republic of Bulgaria, representatives of the diplomatic corps and a large number of representatives of domestic and foreign media. Out of a total of 240 deputies, the session began with a quorum of 228 deputies.
      Nikola Minchev from the political party "We continue with changes", was elected the new President of the Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria, as well as the following Vice-Presidents of the Assembly, Rositsaa Kirova (GERB / SDS), Mukkades Nalbant (DPS), Christian Vigenin (BSP), Iva Miteva, (ITN), General Atanas Atanasov, (Democratic Bulgaria) and Tsoncho Ganev, (Vazrazhdane).
