Today in Dimitrovgrad, Ambassador Jović attended the meeting of the delegations of the Serbian Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure and the Bulgarian Ministry of Transport. The Serbian delegation was led by Minister Tomislav Momirović and the Bulgarian delegation by Minister Hristo Aleksiev. During the meeting, several topics of mutual interest were discussed, primarily in the field of transport and road (railway) infrastructure. Both delegations agreed that there is a lot of room for further improvement of cooperation as well as for joint action towards EU institutions, with the aim of further development and construction of infrastructure, as a precondition for successful development of the entire region.
In addition to meaningful meetings, the two delegations visited the railway station in Dimitrovgrad, as well as the section of the highway under construction, at the entrance to Bulgaria.
