Ambassador Željko Jović attended the regular meeting of the governing body of the United Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR), the Committee of Plenipotentiaries of the JINR member states. The meeting was also attended by the Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, as well as the ambassadors of the Russian Federation, South Africa, Romania, Belarus, Mongolia and others.

Having in mind that the organizers announced the quick admission of Serbia in the status of a full member, from the current observer, the ambassador thanked for the recognized capacities and contributions that our country has already given within this organization.

On this occasion, the Bulgarian president announced that he expects that soon, as a result of the struggle of 10 EU countries, including Bulgaria, a decision will soon be made to accept nuclear energy as clean (green) energy.
