     On November 2, 2021, a priest conference was held in the Sofia Metropolitanate as part of the manifestation marking the 700th years since the death of St. King Stefan Milutin.

    The conference was opened by Bishop Polycarp of Belogradchik, who welcomed the guests, presented the program of the event, and on that occasion read the address of Patriarch Neophyte, emphasizing that the lity was organized for the first time, where the relics were carried within the central streets of Sofia.
      In his address, Staurophoric butler Nikolay Georgiev, president of the church board of the Metropolitanate of St. Nedelya, introduced the audience to the history and the path of the relics of the Holy King, and pointed out that the relics of St. Ivan Rilski and Sv. King Stefan Milutin, the only relics in Bulgaria that have been preserved in their entirety, and that the relics of both saints were in the same temple for some time. After that, Archpriest Petar Slavov from the Metropolitanate and the butler Ilijan Aleksijev addressed the audience.
      Ambassador Ž. Jovic underlined the key segments of Milutin's life, with an emphasis on his character, characteristics and the most important aspects of his work. He also pointed out the importance of the Serbian St. King Milutin, as a link between the two peoples, and hence the possibility of deepening our overall cooperation.
      At the end of the conference, Bishop Polycarp wished, with the blessing of St. King Stefan Milutin that "we live in joy and peace and every year together, we celebrate his memory."
