Ambassador Jović met with the Mayor of the Sofia Municipality Triadica, Mr. Dimitar Božilov, and his Deputy, Ruslan Bazdekov, with whom he discussed the possibility of connecting this Sofia Municipality with one of the central Belgrade municipalities.
In a friendly and very fruitful conversation, it was stated that there is room for cooperation and that in further joint activities, the focus must be on young people, their education, upbringing and connection.
Triadica is the municipality on whose territory the monument to the Serbian Prince Mihailo Obrenović is located, and during the meeting it was agreed to further arrange and beautify the surroundings of the monument, and also to determine a specific date, on which this Serbian ruler would be honored anually, whose rule marked the intensive cooperation of the two peoples, in a joint struggle for complete national liberation.
