During the event "European Week of Sport", which is for the seventh consecutive year under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth Sports of the Republic of Bulgaria, held in Sofia (from 23 to 30 September 2021), on 25 September, in front of the National Cultural Palace, an opening ceremony was held "Opening of the Night of Sport". The mentioned event aims to promote sports activities through various initiatives and competitions. The ceremony was attended by Ambassador Mr. Željko Jović, EU Commissioner for Innovation, Scientific Research, Culture, Education and Youth, Ms. Mariya Gabriel and the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr. Andrej Kuzmanov.
