As part of the "Days of Intangible Cultural Heritage", the intangible cultural heritage of Serbia was presented on the website of the Regional Center for the Preservation of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Southeast Europe under the auspices of UNESCO, based in Sofia. Pirot carpet weaving was presented to the regional and international audience as an element from the domain of knowledge and skills related to traditional crafts, toasts as an element from the domain of traditions and expressions and social practices and St. George's Day as an element from the domain of common practice.

The presentation was prepared by the Center for Intangible Cultural Heritage of Serbia at the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade, as part of the activities for the promotion and presentation of "living heritage" of Serbia, and visitors can view it on the following internet link:

At the beginning of 2021, the Regional Center for the Preservation of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Southeast Europe launched an online section "Days of Intangible Cultural Heritage" with the idea of presenting each of the countries of Southeast Europe with three elements of intangible cultural heritage that are not on the UNESCO lists. . By participating in this initiative, the Republic of Serbia, through the cooperation of the Center for Intangible Cultural Heritage and the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Sofia, continues to actively work on the international presentation of elements of "living heritage", ie those knowledge, skills, traditions, social practices and customs on the territory of Serbia, they continue to preserve and transmit from generation to generation as a feature of their own identity and continuity.
