On September 10, 2021, the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Bulgaria, Ž. Jović and the Defense Attache of the Republic of Serbia in Bulgaria, Ž. Simić, attended the "Military exercise with combat shooting" Shabla-2021-2 ", which was held at the Shabla range in the Republic of Bulgaria.

Members of the Air Force and Air Defense of the Serbian Army and members of the Navy and Ground Forces of the Bulgarian Army took part in the exercise, and have successfully destroyed all Air targets using Rocket systems“Neva“ and „Cube“, as well as Mig 29 Aircraft.

The final segment of the shooting was also attended by the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Army, General Milan Mojsilovic and the Chief of Defense of the Bulgarian Army, Admiral Emil Eftimov. It was jointly assessed that the cooperation is substantive and characterized by qualitative improvement, especially in the field of training and exercises, which contributes to the development of trust and the improvement of overall good neighborly relations.
