Prime Minister Ana Brnabic assessed today in a meeting with Ambassador of Bulgaria to Serbia Petko Doykov that Bulgaria is an important economic and trade partner of our country and pointed out the importance of developing project cooperation in the future.

Brnabic pointed out that the key project is the completion of the motorway from Sofia to the border between the two countries, adding that Serbia is also interested in a joint gas interconnection project between Nis and Dimitrovgrad, as part of the "Balkan Stream".
The Ambassador of Bulgaria emphasised that Serbia is a partner with which very good neighbourly relations are being developed, assessing that our country is also the most important factor of stability in the Western Balkans.
Apart from economic cooperation, he pointed out the possibilities of joint action in the areas of education and the environment.
