On June 10, 2021, Ambassador Ž. Jovic met with the mayor of Pliska town, Ms. Tonka Angelova Naceva. Given the historical significance of the city of Pliska, which was also the first capital of Bulgaria, where the archeologically protected site of the ancient city (Great Basilica) is located, as well as the cultural-historical museum "Cyrillic Courtyard", Ambassador Jovic and mayor Naceva discussed the possibilities of tourist cooperation with Serbia. After the courteous meeting, Ambassador Jovic visited the archeological site of the Basilica and the historical museum "Cyrillic Courtyard".
