On June 10, 2021, Ambassador Ž. Jovic visited the Municipality of Dobrich, where he held a meeting with the Mayor of the Municipality, Mr. Jordan Jordanov. On that occasion, the possibilities of economic and tourist cooperation between the two countries were discussed. Considering that in the territory of the Municipality of Dobrich, in addition to light industry, the most represented industries are agriculture and tourism, it was agreed that in the forthcoming period the Embassy will establish possible cooperation with institutions of the Republic of Serbia.
After the meeting Ambassador Ž. Jovic visited the military cemetery in Dobrich, one of the largest in the Republic of Bulgaria, where in September 1916, after the battle of Dobrich, soldiers of the Serbian, Bulgarian, German, Turkish, Russian and Romanian armies were buried. This year, Ambassador Jović laid a wreath on the grave of the deceased Serbian Officer Aleksandar Ivanović.
