President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic received letters of credence today from the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of the Republic of Bulgaria Petko Doykov.
Welcoming the Ambassador, President Vucic emphasized Serbia's commitment to strengthening all-round relations with Bulgaria, in the spirit of friendship and mutual understanding.
They also stated that the completion of the motorway from Sofia to the border between the two countries, as well as other infrastructure projects, would be of utmost importance for Serbia and Bulgaria.
President Vucic also emphasized the significance of cooperation in the format of the Quadrilateral, i.e. the High-Level Cooperation Council of Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania and Greece, as he considered it to be very important for the development of good neighborly-relations and promotion of the policy of peace and stability in the region, as well as for social and economic development. |
