On December 1, 2020, on the initiative of Ambassador Zeljko Jovic and Tsvetan Simeonov, President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce – BCCI, was organized an online meeting "Business opportunities between companies from Serbia and Bulgaria". The event itself, which was held online due to the extremely unfavorable epidemiological situation, was opened by introductory speeches by Cvetan Simeonov, Zeljko Jovic, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Bulgaria, Radko Vlajkov, Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Serbia and Mihailo Vesovic, Director of Strategic Analysis, services and internationalization in the Serbian Chamber of Commerce. The meeting was attended by over 40 representatives of companies from Serbia and Bulgaria. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the possibilities for improving the current bilateral trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, as well as the exchange of information of mutual interest and presentation of the potential of companies in order to achieve further cooperation.
