On November 11, 2019, at the Serbian Military Cemetery in Sofia, a commemoration ceremony was organized on the occasion of the Armitice Day in WWI. The priest of the Serbian Orthodox Church held a service, after which Ambassador Željko Jović delivered a speech in honor of the fallen soldiers of the Serbian Army. The wreath-laying ceremony was attended by representatives of the Army of the Republic of Bulgaria, military envoys, representatives of the diplomatic corps and Serbian citizens.
