On July 18, 2020, Bulgaria marked the 183rd anniversary of the birth of Vasil Levski, a Bulgarian revolutionary, the creator of the movement's strategy for liberating Bulgaria from Ottoman Empire. In all major cities in Bulgaria, citizens gathered in front of the monument to the national hero, laying wreaths. In Burgas, in the Sea Garden, in memory of the great work of Levski, wreaths were laid by representatives of Bulgarian institutions, Deputy Governor of the Burgas District Administration, Vladimir Krumov, and the Ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Sofia, Zeljko Jovic.
