On November 11, 2019, at the Serbian Military Cemetery in Sofia, a commemoration ceremony was organized on the occasion of the Armitice Day in WWI. Ambassador Ž. Jović delivered a speech honoring the fallen soldiers of the Serbian Army, after which the Serbian Orthodox Church priest accompanied by the church choir from Pirot held the rite. Wreath-laying ceremonies were attended by representatives of the Bulgarian Army and authorities, military envoys and representatives of the diplomatic corps, and Serbian citizens. After the commemorative ceremony, a reception was held at the Embassy premises.
