As key to the meeting, we highlight the speech of the eurocommissioner Gabriel, in which she pointed out that by the end of 2018, a new financing facility of 8 million euros will be opened under the program Horizon 2020 as a support to the habits of digital innovation in the region that have not been sufficiently financially supported so far. It is jointly estimated that the Balkans should become one big center of digital nodes, the digital economy and the network. Also, it was pointed out that previous experience in the region has shown that startups have their strong sides and supporters who are not afraid of risk. It was also emphasized that after the price reduction of roaming, the common goal should be to transform the WB into the information hub of Central and Eastern Europe, and that this position is shared by all WB leaders.

PM A.Brnabić had a very remarkable presentation in which she presented the accomplishments achieved in Serbia in terms of digitalization, startups and their impact on better life of people and economy in general, as well as potentials that should be used in the future not only for the development of Serbia, but also for stronger ties with other partners in the region, Europe and the world.
